CLIMATE CHANGE Climate change is the period when the average weather condition of an area experiences slow change for a given space of time . This condition may be good or bad . It may be good when the climate changes from a hot one to a cool one and it may be bad when the cool climate changes to a hot one . But all this circumstances occur due to the activities us humans engage ourselves in for example when we practice excessive swamp drainage , the climate will change from cool to hot . In this case , we should try to avoid negative climate change (cool - hot). This happens when we practice activities like ; swamp drainage , deforestation , improper waste management, releasing toxic fumes to the atmosphere and many others . These activities are avoidable and we should avoid them by ; stopping swamp drainage to get land for satisfaction but instead , we should gain land from hills , plains and plateaus to reach our nees to negative climate change but it also leads to flooding , destruction of habitats of animals like fish so I recommend that this activity should stop . Secondly , deforestation . The main cause of this is the need to get energy sources and building material . This is not hard to avoid because we can simply resort to other sources of energy such as solar , hydro power and also wind power. But take note that when we are in search of alternate sources of energy , we shouldn't take fossil fuels as a solution since it also leads to negative climate change after we burn them to get the energy we need. The other cause which is need for building material is also avoidable since we can easily use other materials for construction such as soil ,metal , and cement . But we should also avoid the excessive metal extraction since it will lead to earthquakes. Thirdly improper waste management such as burning . This is a simple problem to solve . We should just practice better methods of waste waste management such as reusing , recycling , and also using organic waste as manure.
